Are you interested in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language)? You do not have to be bilingual--sometimes it's even better for the students if you don't know the other language at all. We have translators for that. Using a Bible-based study, we offer English classes to non-native speakers who are looking to develop their language skills.
ESL Classes are Wednesday nights @ 6:30, starting April 3rd.
Our goal is to share the gospel, and to enable English language learners to become competent in the understanding, reading, listening, speaking, and writing of the English language through the development of literacy and academic skills. We have beginner, intermediate and advanced groups available.
Not a teacher? We also have opportunities for volunteers, childcare, and conversationalists, so let us know how you feel led to serve.
